In 2022 we were fortunate enough to have flowered a few weddings at Battle Abbey and in the height of the heatwave we created the florals for Kirsty and Lee. From our first meeting both Kirsty and Lee had a pretty good idea of what they want
ed. Kirsty knew that she wanted a blush pink theme with some succulents thrown in for good measure.
They knew that they wanted the centre pieces to be tall but they also wanted to put their personal touches on the decoration. And so, Lee, an accomplished welder decided to make the mechanics for the centrepieces which not only would be pink, but would also hold the glasses for their toast and be topped with the florals.
After a couple of test pieces, we agreed on the mechanics which would work for them and for the florals.
We used a combination of blush pink roses, cream roses, astilbe, wax flower, succulents and some lovely foliage in the bouquets and buttonholes. Their wedding video currently showing the Battle Abbey website really highlights the beauty of the flowers.

The Grooms buttonhole also included a peacock feather which held a special meaning
The tables had high displays. The displays were made by Lee and were topped with a combination of foliage and roses which set off the library room at Battle Abbey perfectly
